Oh! My Love. Do you really matter?

You are just a tiny being in this vast ocean of cosmos.

Many have come.

Many have gone.

Many of them are still unknown.

Pouring a lot of arrogance.

Adding to it a pinch of ignorance.

You have served yourself the dish of Self-importance.

But do you think you really matter?

Jumbled in the complex of space, time, energy and matter.

You strive daily to earn bread and butter.

And for the sake of giving meaning to your life, you have added ego to your platter.

But do you think you really matter?

You believe yourself to be the centre of existence.

Using a bundle of emotions you give yourself huge importance.

And you like to live in your own world of imaginary affluence.

But do you think you really matter?

When you will die.

Only a few will cry.

Time will soon wipe out your essence.

No one will ever be bothered by your absence.

The moment you die.

Your whole life will turn into a colourful lie.

That's the unspoken truth my love.

Neither do you matter,

Nor do I.
